Volunteers have been central to MND Victoria since the organisation commenced in 1981 and today are essential to the operation of the organisation and to the services we are able to provide.
Volunteers undertake a range of roles and responsibilities all contributing to the vibrant, energetic and successful Association we are today.
Our volunteers bring a wealth of knowledge together with a wide range of skills and experiences to the work of MND Victoria. Volunteers enhance the work of paid staff and help provide opportunities for an improved quality of life for people living with MND and their families.
We have over 130 volunteers who are involved in a range of program areas. The Coordinator of Volunteer Programs is regularly talking with people about the skills they bring and how they could be involved as volunteers with MND Victoria.
Whether you are interested in supporting people who are living with motor neurone disease, are keen to help raise funds or to contribute to operations in other ways you CAN get involved.
